Programs
The educational programs at Jolly Kids International School were created with children's needs in mind: to mature and develop in a safe and yet stimulating environment. Through stimulating situations and hands-on learning opportunities, students are free to develop into bright, young minds. Jolly Kids International School offers several programs based on the child's age. Take a look below to learn more about each of them them.
For very young learners {4 months-3 years old} we have prepared play-based, process-oriented type of classes. In order to create consistency, the structure of the class is relatively same. Warm-up activity, looking at the source material, reading a book or singing a song followed up by the main “creativity block”. We also focus on language skills and introduction of phonics mostly through music and reading. The remaining time, if there is any, is dedicated to a free play or sensory play.
For young learners {4-6 years old} the structure of the classes is pretty similar. We focused more on discussion, deepening the knowledge of the subject and the process itself. This class expands child’s knowledge of the world, teaches him practical skills, develops language skills, concentration and preparedness for the elementary school.
For elementary school learners {6-12 years old} we have prepared project-based type of classes. We focus on the subject being discussed, developing vocabulary, outcome of the project, creative thinking and deepening the skills previously gained.
