Our first part of the session includes Montessori inspired “Practical life activities”.

Practical life activity in Montessori is a purposeful activity. It is applicable for all ages.

In doing practical life activities a child develops coordination, concentration, independence, sense of responsibility and respect for his or her community and surroundings.

JKIS strives to grow an independent and confident individual, prepare him for life and help him to do things by himself.

モンテッソーリでの実践的な生活活動は意図的な活動です。それはすべての年齢層にあてはまります。

自分のコミュニティと環境への敬意を発達させます。

Second part of the session focuses on STEM and ART activities. Those can spark curiosity and allow child to experiment, ask questions, make predictions and have FUN! Following the Reggio-Emilia approach, through self-inquiry students decide their activities or projects they want to work on.
